FAQs

The Little Learning Preschool

Have a question about childcare? We have the answer at The Little Learning Preschool. Check out these FAQs and contact us today for more information!

  • Will my child just play all day?

Your child will definitely play — but it’s purposeful play! At The Little Learning Preschool, we follow a curriculum-based program where learning is thoughtfully woven into every part of the day. Our teachers use play as a powerful teaching tool to build early literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and more. So while it may look like fun and games, your child is actively learning, growing, and meeting developmental milestones every step of the way.

  • Can you accommodate children with special needs or provide support services?

At The Little Learning Preschool, we believe every child deserves a nurturing, inclusive environment where they can thrive. We do our best to accommodate children with special needs and are happy to partner with families and community support services to ensure each child receives the care and support they need. If your child has specific needs, we’d love to connect and work together on a plan that supports their success.

  • What is the student-to-teacher ratio?

Our student-to-teacher ratio is in line with the regulations determined by the Texas standard childcare license.

  • Do you offer before-school and after-school care options for working parents?

Yes, we offer before-school and after-school care. We can also provide transportation to and from schools to our facility.

  • Do you offer camps during school breaks?

Yes, we offer camps for ages 5-12 years old during summer break and spring break.  We also offer drop in days during winter break.

  • Do you have cameras?

Yes, we have security cameras in place throughout our center to help ensure a safe and secure environment for our children, staff, and families. While live camera access is not provided to parents, our system allows us to monitor classrooms and common areas as part of our commitment to safety and accountability.

  • How do you ensure safety?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We’ve put multiple layers of protection in place to create a secure and nurturing environment:

    • Our entryway is always locked and requires an access code for entry.
    • All staff members are background checked and fingerprinted before hire.
    • Every team member is certified in CPR and First Aid.
    • We conduct monthly and quarterly emergency drills to ensure staff and children are prepared for a variety of situations.

We take your trust seriously and are committed to providing a safe, secure, and caring place for your little one to learn and grow.
